How we think about e-commerce websites

An online store is a shop with no shop assistant. Every product page has to answer the question a customer would ask at the counter.

Sound familiar?

What owners tell us, and what we do about it.

  1. Business ownerCustomers add to cart and then leave.
  2. ToBrandWe keep checkout short and offer UPI, Razorpay and cash on delivery, so people pay the way they like.
  3. Business ownerI take orders on WhatsApp and lose track.
  4. ToBrandA store lists your stock and prices, takes payment and keeps every order in one place you can check.
  5. Business ownerI don't know which platform to pick.
  6. ToBrandShopify suits most stores. We tell you honestly which platform fits what you sell, even if it is the cheaper one.

Is this right for you?

A good fit if

  • D2C brands and retailers moving from Instagram or WhatsApp orders to a store
  • Shops that want to sell beyond their own city
  • Manufacturers and distributors ready to take orders online
  • Sellers who want UPI, cards and cash on delivery at checkout

Probably not if

  • You only want to show products and take enquiries: a normal website costs less.
  • You need a marketplace with many sellers: that is custom software.

Not just another agency

What we do differently.

  1. 01

A typical agencyLists products and hopes they sell

ToBrandPlans categories, filters and product pages around how your buyers actually choose

  2. 02

A typical agencyAdds a payment gateway and calls it done

ToBrandTests UPI, cards and cash on delivery end to end, including refunds and failed payments

  3. 03

A typical agencyLeaves you to work out orders and stock

ToBrandTrains you on orders, stock, discounts and returns before launch

Questions about e-commerce websites.

How much does an online store cost?

Online stores start at ₹59,999 plus GST for a starter store. Larger stores, with bigger catalogues or extra features, start at ₹99,999 plus GST on our Scale range. Domain and hosting are billed separately at cost. Shopify charges its own monthly subscription, paid to Shopify. Your quote is itemised in writing, with no hidden costs.

How long does it take to build a store?

Online stores take 4 to 8 weeks. The time depends on how many products you have, how many payment and delivery options you need, and how fast you send photos and prices. Every proposal includes a week-by-week timeline so you can plan your launch.

What if a payment or an order goes wrong?

Before launch we place test orders on every payment method. After launch you get 30 days of free fixes and tweaks. You own your design files, domain and content, and you pay in stages as each one is approved, so you are never left paying for work you have not seen.

Shopify or WooCommerce: which should I choose?

Shopify suits most online stores. It is a monthly subscription that handles hosting and checkout, so there is less to look after. WooCommerce runs on WordPress and gives more control, but you manage hosting and updates. We recommend one on the call, based on what you sell and who will run the store.
